Fake meat – how to prepare it by yourself

I will approach this text quite personally and honestly, for the reason that I would like to have been told this when I first switched from a lifelong vegetarianism to a vegan diet.

Yes, you will say, easy for a vegetarian who doesn’t even know how meat tastes like, ever heard about our ancestor on a vegan regime? There is some truth in that until you include your family in the equation, in my case the love of my life, my husband. One of definitely the best chefs in the world ( subjective opinion 🙂 ) , all life omnivore, after my easy and manipulative introduction of vegan foods and the elimination of meat and animal products, just two basic things played a major role in this transition. Indeed when we were doing an experiment where we were offering guests a tortilla or a sandwich with these meats that are completely natural, hommade, people were very pleased, some didn’t even notice it wasn’t real meat. Since veganism implies an ecological approach, raising livestock for food is shameful for humanity. I have bad taste for industrial vegan and vegetarian processed products including processed fake meat, which are possibly worse than the original foods. Homogenization, overprocessing, and lots of sugar, msg, and salt make them more dangerous than one might imagine.
