Oatmeal with fresh fruit and chia seeds
This is pretty much a dreamy breakfast. The fresh fruit add the freshness you need in the morning and chia seeds add the extra health boost to your breakfast.
Ingredients:
500 g Vegan yogurt
45 g Chia seeds
500 ml Plant based milk (such as coconut milk, almond milk, oat milk)
15 g Vanilla extract
15 ml Maple syrup
150 g Oats
30 g Fresh fruit (any fruit you desire: peaches, apples, bananas, mango, blueberries)
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt and chia seeds. Adding chia seeds to yogurt will make the texture more like a pudding.
Pour in the milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup and whisk until well combined.
Now add the oats and mix well.
Cover with a well-fitting lid and refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight.
When ready to serve, add a drop of maple syrup and pour over your favorite fruit. Stir well and enjoy.
